Overview

Project Prompt 

​

GrowMart is a (fictitious) Australian mid-size supermarket chain. Despite the fact that their customer satisfaction ratings have been reasonably steady over the last three years, their market share has decreased by 5% each year. According to market and user studies, this drop is most likely attributable to a rise in online grocery ordering and delivery items. The usage of eCommerce platforms worldwide has dramatically increased due to the COVID 19 pandemic.   Businesses like GrowMart can reap the benefits of this circumstance to expand their client base and create more profit by providing consumers with a great shopping experience. Many customers choose to buy for these items online since it is faster, simpler, and more comfortable . 

 

GrowMart thinks that by building an app that allows users to shop and buy their items online, they would be able to increase their client base and market share.
 

GrowMart's vision for their new inline product is as follows:
 

"GrowMart is a grocery shopping platform that allows users to shop and purchase goods online fast and conveniently, and have them delivered promptly at little to no expense. "

1. Research

After I received the overview, I conducted a user survey and interviews  to determine how potential customers in grocery stores purchase products. Here are a few collected points .

Understanding The User

User Persona

The data from the survey and interviews helped us in understanding a general view of our potential users .To gain a better perspective of the user , I built personas to recognize the needs and expectations of a variety of users .
